Stayed there with my family for a week. We stayed in the Clubhouse with views of the golf course. Very nice facilities, pool and spa. The staff was stretched on a number of occasions which impacted the service level and knocked down a star.
Overall, a very nice stay and I would recommend.
Over the last couple of years I have been a huge fan of Westin resorts, stopping at both Whistler and Mammoth, both were welcoming, friendly and offered decent food at both the bar and the restaurant.
We therefore expected the same from Bear Mountain and unfortunately were let down.
On a arrival we pulled up at the valet parking to be met by a member of staff. We expected him to help with baggage and offer to park the car, neither of which he did.
At check in we were told our room was not ready at 2.30 pm, no problem we had a drink at the bar, at 3.30 we we returned to reception to be told the room still was not ready. We were offered another room on a lower floor.
Beautiful surroundings! The accommodation was excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Don’t worry about not being close to Victoria – it’s a quick short drive. We don’t golf, but I would definitely stay there again!
