Fairmont Empress Hotel

We stayed at the Fairmont Empress for our honeymoon.
We were not disappointed. We were upgraded to a lovely suite! (Thanks Nathan)
The property is the best location in Victoria. it’s like the rest of the town was built around the hotel. Like all of the Fairmont properties it has that old historic charm to it yet with a modern twist. The Empress is known for their lovely afternoon high tea.
The property also features a large sized indoor pool and gym facility.
The room was beautiful we has a 2 room suite with separate lounge. The bed was amazing and the room was very fresh and modern.

We have loved to stay at the Empress for many years and have such good memories of bringing family and friends to stay and dine there. But several changes over the last year have completely changed our enjoyment of this hotel. For some strange reason the Bengal Lounge was closed — we always loved to go there when we stayed at the hotel. And today we took a day trip to Victoria to bring our granddaughter to tea for her birthday. The tea is very expensive but now there is no fruit to begin the tea. The service has been reduced. No tea was poured for us at all — we poured our own tea and milk, we had to remove a large dripping tea bag (not loose tea any longer) from the pot ourselve

DoubleTree Hotel & Suites Victoria

My parents who are seniors enjoyed the comfortable beds, Not every hotel offers two queen size beds as most are just two double beds. The accessible bathroom was great for a person who requires a walker or cane. The service they received while visiting for family day weekend was very friendly and helpful. Loved the cookies, tea and coffee

This hotel is right behind the Empress Hotel providing easy walking access to everything. The staff were exceptional. The front desk, valet and housekeepers all interacted with us and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Thursday night a Bartholomew pub is music bingo night. Apparently a locals favorite. We had a blast.
The hotel is located right downtown within walking distance to everything. Upon arrival the staff are very friendly and helpful. |Valet parking is available for a fee. If you prefer street parking after 6 p.m until 7 a.m. is free. loved the warm cookie on arrival. I stay here for stay-cations!! Will be back again.

Embassy Inn Victoria

We loved this hotel! We had planned to spend several days in Victoria over Christmas, and this was the hotel we booked for the first part of our trip. Once we arrived and got moved in, we extended our stay another day, and then extended it again to stay our entire vacation. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was top notch, the room was quiet and comfortable, the hotel itself was clean, and the location was very convenient. The hotel is across the street from the Parliament building, with easy access to the Royal BC Museum, downtown, and the waterfront. There is a grocery store down the street, as well as coffee shops, a tea parlor, quaint restaurants and a market.

Staying at the Embassy Inn for 15 wonderful nights with our Tour was super. Our accommodations in the king suite was fantastic and far more than what we expected. the friendly and helpful cleaning staff were excellent and very efficient. the breakfast room is very inviting and bright even to the palm trees outside the windows. Scott you are very friendly, professional and a wonderful chef and made every morning a great start to our day with vast array or food especially the waffles, strawberries and whip topping. Thank you all for making our holiday so memorable. (We will be back)

Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Hotel

Great service, very clean rooms, every thing you need in one place. Walking distance to downtown shopping core and tourist attractions. Restaurant food is very good but menu is limited. If your planning a long stay check out some of the great cuisine offered in the downtown area.

Beautiful, immaculate, modern hotel. Although it’s quite a short walk to town, I wouldn’t enjoy the walk if I was on my own. The large bridge feels quite isolated after dark, and there are a lot of homeless people around. Views from the hotel rooms are wonderful. The service is great and the dining is scrumptious.
Stayed for 4 nights. Great location, quick walk across the bridge and you are in the city. Nice view of the harbour from my room. Nice and friendly staff. Starbucks in the lobby. Ability to opt out of room cleaning with an incentive for money off breakfast/charitable donation. The food offered from room service was expensive and very limited, cheaper to order elsewhere and get delivery which was easy to do. Airport shuttle has scheduled pick ups which was fantastic. Always cabs waiting or nearby. The one main thing I didn’t like, as with all hotels; smokers do not matter. Yes, there is an ashtray and an area in the middle of the roundabout, but it offers no shelter so you must battle it out in the wind/rain/snow..good times. I bought an umbrella and found a dark alley way just off the property that offered a little better protection from the elements.

Days Inn Victoria On The Harbour

We, my husband and I, stayed here for one night recently on a shopping and movie dat to Victoria. The hotel had a special rate offered which was too good to pass up. Located right in the Inner Harbour area, the location is excellent- walking distance to restaurants, shops, theatres.
It’s an older hotel, built (I am guessing) in the fifties? And as such the hallways have a slightly musty door, with traces of the smoking days still lingering. Our room was clean and comfortable, slightly noisy as it was right over the bar. No real complaints. Our deal included breakfast in the restaurant, which was good. The bar, where we had happy hour appies and cocktails is also very pleasant, if slightly dated.
I would stay here again, especially at the price we paid ($95 for a king room, including breakfast) we have stayed at many of the neighbouring hotels in this area, and I won’t say this is the best or the nicest, but it’s perfectly fine for a night or two. Good service, good location, good price. What’s not to like?

Everything was good but I couldn’t get my iPad logon the hotel network. It is probably something in my iPad that is set wrong as when I returned home everything is ok. It would have been nice to have somebody at the front desk computer savvy.

Coast Victoria Harbourside Hotel

The smart toilet cover are awesome for both men and women. Overall very nice hotel, clean and comfortable with nice big screen TV and everything else you can expect and see in the pictures. Parking is only underground and cost a small fortune. 18 CAD a night is outrageous

We came for a couples getaway this past weekend. When we arrived to our room it smelled strongly of cigar smoke, we reported this to the front desk. Without hesitation they upgraded us to room #1021 the harbour suite. It was a beautiful room, with an amazing patio and view from the top floor. Our stay was quiet, the bed was super comfortable. Walking distance to everywhere. It was a wonderful weekend we will be back!!
We were staying at a hotel a ten-minute drive from the Coast Victoria Harbourside. We had had many wonderful meals at the Coast’s restaurant. My husband walked over to the hotel to arrange for a great table for a family reunion. While he was doing that the manager of the restaurant suggested the hotel bus come and pick us up rather than our driving or taking a taxi. What a suggestion. Kevin, the driver arrived and entertained us all the way to the hotel. What a charming and knowledgeable young man. The manager greeted us like family, our table was fabulous, our server was absolutely amazing, and the food was out of this world. When it was time to head back to our hotel, Kevin drove us back and didn’t want to take a tip. In today’s world, meeting a host team like they have at the Coast Hotel is truly a marvellous experience. Everything we experienced all evening, even amidst their on-going
renovations, was equally superb. Kudos to everyone at the Coast Victoria Harbourside. We will make you our ‘home-away-from-home from now on when we visit Victoria.
p.s. We only had stayed in a different hotel because we wanted large adjoining rooms right down town for our reunion.

Had great time. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the great view in the restaurant Room was clean with good view. weather was great. service was good with helpful staff in the vista restaurant

The location is great. Quiet for sleep purposes but central and walking distance to many interesting sites and good restaurants. Staff are efficient and friendly. Rooms are big, clean and it has great wifi. Breakfasts can be taken on the top floor, view and scrumptious food. Pool and hot tub. This hotel has it all! We have stayed 8 times in the last 3 years. Never disappointed.

I had the fastest check-in and check-out experience, even though there were only 2 people manning front desk.
Rooms were well-equipped and clean, I liked having an iron and ironing board as well as a kettle and a coffee maker.
The coffee in my room had a sweeter than normal taste and I found it too weak for my liking, but that was not an issue at all, there were plenty of places around to get stronger coffee, including a nearby 7-11, McDonalds and Starbucks.

I called house keeping to have extra towels for the kids and they were knocking on my door within 3 minutes.
Maybe we were lucky coz. the place was not that busy at the time but we still felt welcome and taken care of anyway.

The hotel is not the cheapest especially that you have to pay extra for the parking, however, it does provide good value for money compared to other hotels in this specific location.

The hotel’s location is super, it is at a walking distance from many restaurants and other downtown attractions. It has an OK indoor pool with Jacuzzi.
Did not have the chance to try the restaurant.

My only complaint was noise from people leaving the bar at night, as my room was right above it, but I did not bother to ask for a room change, I believe I would have been accommodated if i did.

Overall I would recommend this hotel for others.
Thank you guys.

We always come to Victoria at least once a year to enjoy the ambience and some fine dining. The hotel is very clean, the staff extremely helpful and friendly so it is a great place to stay. Rooms at very spacious and have a kitchenette. Extremely well located to walk downtown Victoria.

This place continues to feel like home , due to the warm and friendly atmosphere and staff. I always feel safe and secure there, and would not hesitate to stay there alone.
Nice residential area for walking, with a local fresh fish shop nearby for buying nice seafood , as well as a great food truck right in front which makes the best seafood chowder ever!!!!!!

I really like this hotel for the small kitchenette and underground, secured parking (not valet) for a low $9.00 per day. I stayed at another downtownVictoria hotel where they charged about $15 per day and valet as the only option. I beleive breakfast is also offered, although I didn’t take advantage as I used my kitchen for my own food I brought in. I’ve booked my next two trips already at this little gem!

Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour

The Marriott Inner Harbour is a great place to stay for a Victoria vacation. Well situated near the heart of the City making it very easy to walk downtown Victoria. The hotel itself is very clean and modern with spacious rooms. Staff are very friendly and professional.

Very well located hotel for downtown activities and meetings. Room decor was very traditional — an odd contrast with the building exterior. Superlative breakfast team; attentive at the buffet and poured me a coffee to go. Ditto re: excellent front desk team. In-room coffee availability was appreciated, however I would have appreciated seeing some of the excellent local roasteries featured.
We stayed here for a Friday night/Saturday night week-end and will definitely stay here again on a future visit. The location is excellent – right near the inner harbour and close to the BC Museum and other attractions. We just reserved a basic room with one bed, but it was very spacious and well-appointed, including a desk, armchair, fridge, bathrobes, coffee-maker, safe, etc.. They have good rates for seniors so it was really excellent value, and the whole place was very pleasant. The underground parking lot is well-lit and easy to get to, and unlike some parking lots, the spots are a decent size and the price reasonable enough. The staff were all pleasant and helpful.

The Royal Scot hotel is one block from the Provincial Parliament building. The location is walkable to many tourist attractions and activities; such as Fisherman’s Wharf, Museum, Shopping, Eating and the list goes on. The Royal Scot Hotel and Suites offers full kitchens and the grocery story is about seven walkable blocks away. Hope to one day return to Victoria. Style is definitely 1960’s décor but quality furniture. Staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean.

No wonder my family keeps coming back. This is a top notch hotel. Very clean. Prices are very good and the location is the best. The restaurant has amazing food for the price. I recommend this hotel and will be back
