I am always satisfied with my experience at Harbour Towers and the hotel is in a superior position making it easier to walk around Victoria The staff are very accommodating and all staff are friendly,
I booked at the Harbor Towers, Victoria, a one bedroom suite with an ocean view with free buffet breakfast and l wasn’t disappointed at all. The front desk service, restaurant staff an the room service people were just excellent. Parking was $15 per night. The rooms are somewhat dated but super clean and very comfortable. Cost was $121 plus tax plus parking. Outstanding. Will definitely tell all to go there.
Since my wife had several medical appointments booked in the area over two days, we decided to spend the night in Victoria and save ourselves from lots of driving….and a potential snowstorm. The Harbour Towers was kind enough to offer us a “Compassionate” rate for our accommodations. Check-in was easy and efficient, and after asking about it, the representative said that she was able to include parking in our rate. Breakfast the next morning was also included.
The room was large, warm and inviting, with a great view of Victoria’s Inner Harbour. There was a small, very well equipped kitchen/dining area in the main room, as well as a fold out couch, comfortable chairs and a large TV. Wireless and wired Internet service is included, and the connection was great. The separate bedroom had a King size bed. There was a very nice little balcony with chairs and a small table that would have been great if it hadn’t been so cold outside. The bed was very comfortable, however the sheets were fairly threadbare and there was a fairly good sized hole in the bottom sheet right about where your shoulders would go. The bottom sheet was also not “fitted” and was essentially totally un-tucked as soon as the bed was used. All-in-all though, the room was very nice.
As for the “Full Breakfast Buffet” the next morning, I think that the management could save themselves a lot of time and money by changing it to just a “Continental Breakfast Buffet”. The hot foods that were available (Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Hash Browns) were neither hot, nor properly prepared. The baked goods, coffee, teas and juices were good though. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Harbour Towers again, or to recommend it to others.
