We are a couple of Aussies ending our travels in Victoria before flying home. This hotel is a little out of town and as we had no car. if you are not a walker I would suggest a place closer to town. I did notice buses travelling up the main road. However it is a nice walk into town on the ” galloping goose trail” . You can pick this up just a short distance from the hotel and it is a mainly flat walk into town.
The hotel itself was nice, the Crow restaurant is good value for money especially the breakfast, which we like to have a good start to the day. Unfortunately we had a connecting room and our “neighbours” we’re very noisy. So I would suggest the hotel put a sign in each room to be considerate of others, along with their other signs. Great kitchen for longer stays..pool looked nice but weather a little cool for us..
