We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Victoria in early August. No A/C and it was a warm time, but we had the window open at night, when it cooled down, and we were quite comfortable.
The hotel is downtown and very close to the harbour and all the downtown establishments. It’s a great place to be based for walking throughout the downtown of Victoria.
The rooms are clean and modern and the hotel is well priced for Victoria.
Breakfast is available in the pub next door for a 25% discount.
We ate there once and it was quiet and the food was good, but on other mornings, we ventured farther afield for breakfast.
There are tons of places to eat and visit with a 10 minute walk of the hotel. Our rental car sat in the secured parking lot for three days as we walked everywhere.
My wife thought later that we should have shuttled from the airport to this hotel, saved on car rental and parking, and then got the rental car when we left for Tofino.
Of course she’s right, but who thinks of all these things before travelling??
