Having stayed in many hotels with our dog, sometimes it can be an adventure. We brought our 20lb dog with us and was given room 102. The room faces Blanchard and it’s about 8ft from the sidewalk below. The room was 26.5C when we got in so we opened the two windows and tried to air it out. Eventually we told the front desk and they said it was a common complaint. Luckily though, there was a fan. With the windows open and the fan on, it helped cool it down slightly. This is not the room for you unless it’s a cold winter’s day! Since Blanchard is a major road, there’s lots of traffic noise but by 8:30-9:00pm it all but gone, so keep those window shut if you’re a light sleeper! Also keep the blinds closed if you are bothered by a large lit up Quality Inn sign! Having said all that, it was super clean and they even gave us a “doggy bag” for our fur-son! Several potty places near the entrance and several off leash dog parks too. Overall good place for us to stay. We were very busy and pretty much just slept there so it was perfect for us. We would stay there again. Friendly staff, quirky building and weird underground parking but all good. And, of course, the price was right!
