We stayed here in May having come to Victoria to attend a wedding at the Catherdral. The Club was everything we wished. The room was perfect and it was great to have our own place right in the centre of town. Having the suite meant we had our own sitting room to lounge in when we wanted some down time. Really essential when you are travelling for any period of time. The bed was comfortable and there is a bath and shower. I could not fault the accommodation and was delighted to have stayed here. The staff on reception were friendly and attentive. And although there is no tea and coffee in the room there is a complimentary service at the foot of the stairs at all times. Breakfast was very filling and certainly ample as you will not need to eat lunch. The club is right next door to the Empress Hotel which has just opened its afternoon tea room since being renovated. We also visited Butchart Gardens which is a must at any time of year. We took the local bus out which was easy and about $2.50 for a day’s pass. Very cheap.
