We took the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria for the day and hoped to have afternoon tea at the Fairmont Empress. It was booked, so the young woman at the Visitor’s Centre suggested Gatsby Manor as an alternative. It was perfect, great tea & food and the young woman who served us was lovely. The location was perfect also, practically across the street from the ferry for our return trip. Don’t overlook this spot for afternoon tea.
My wife and I have stayed here before, and The Gatsby Manor was as before. Read, mark, learn and inwardly digest the reviews that are here, and if you think this might be the place for you, grab a reservation now: a place this eccentric might not last in the world of today’s mainstream hotels.
