There are many options in Victoria, and I have tried quite a few over the years. This has been my best experience overall. They are a slightly further away from downtown but the shuttle service was fantastic.
After a long commute from Vancouver to Victoria, we got to the hotel 3 hours before the designated check-in time but the front desk was accommodating enough that we got to check-in 3 hours prior to the actual check-in time! Plus, I was chosen as the guest of the day so we got a free room upgrade; from city view to sea view, which made the stay all the more pleasurable. It was great having to check in earlier especially after a tiring commute. Since they’re a little off downtown, the free shuttle service to downtown is really helpful! And if you don’t know where you’re going, like my friends and I, just ask the shuttle driver and they can pick up or drop off anywhere you want. The rooms were clean and the bathroom… omg the bathroom has an amazing toilet! I didn’t have to go all the way to Japan to experience such a techie toilet, I love that the seat heats up! I wish I have one in my home. The hotel restaurant is lovely too, the three-course meal is not that expensive compared to other top restaurants. It also has a lovely view of the ocean and the dock, you get to see the seaplanes fly off or land too!
Situated on Victoria’s lively outer harbour the hotel features a 42-slip marina, and award-winning restaurant. Guest rooms features large windows and a private balcony. All rooms also offer complimentary Wi-Fi as well as local calling.
