Myself, wife and daughter, spent three nights here. We don’t have a lot of money but we figured we would splurge here on this hotel. Check in was seamless. The outside appearance was really nothing special, but the walk inside was very nice and inviting. The location is good and a 4 out of 5. There are other hotels closer to the Royal Museum and of course, the restaurants that are more affordable. What we didn’t realize was that there was no continental breakfast, something that we would have gotten at a hotel that charges half the price. We also didn’t realize that parking would be tight as its under ground and I have a pickup. Its also 15$ a day. Also something that could be had for free at other hotels. There also was no microwave. So essentially we were at the mercy of local restaurants to feed our selves. We ended up buying some groceries at Thrifties. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet. The bathrooms were most definitely out-dated with stains in the tub and grout. The rest of the room appeared updated. The pool was great with the hot tub and the weight room/gym was adequate. One plus here at the hotel is free shuttles, but only to certain locations in the city. Overall I gave this hotel a 4 out of 5. If there were freebies to be had, we only utilized the shuttle a few times, otherwise, expect to pay more then you bargained.
